The Erasmus Prize is for the best paper presented by a graduate student at the annual meeting. The prize was established to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Canadian Society for Renaissance Studies (1976-1996).The winning paper is selected by a three-person committee. The Society presents the prize-winner with a ticket to the annual banquet and a $100 cheque. We invite our student members to submit a paper for the current competition.  To qualify for the Erasmus Prize, a student must be enrolled in a programme of graduate studies in the current year and must be a member of the CSRS. The candidate must send an electronic copy of their paper and proof of Conference registration to the Vice-President of the Society shortly after the end of the conference (and before 15 July). The text submitted must be the paper as delivered at the conference with neither footnotes nor bibliography. The submission must not be longer than 4000 words.

Le Prix Érasme récompense la meilleure version écrite d’une communication présentée par un étudiant des cycles supérieurs lors du congrès annuel. Le prix a été établi pour célébrer le vingtième anniversaire de la Société canadienne d’études de la Renaissance (1976-1996). La sélection s’effectue sur la recommandation d’un comité composé de trois membres. La Société remet au lauréat un billet pour le banquet annuel et un chèque de 100 $.

Nous invitons nos membres étudiant(e)s à soumettre le texte travaillé et rédigé de leur communication au prix Érasme. Pour être admissible, il faut être inscrit à un programme d’études supérieures pour l’année en cours et être membre de la SCÉR. Le/la candidat(e) doit faire parvenir un texte basé sur sa communication ainsi qu’une preuve d’inscription au colloque au vice-président ou à la vice-présidente de la Société, par courrier électronique, peu après la fin du colloque annuel (et avant le 15 juillet). Le texte soumis devra correspondre à la communication prononcée lors du colloque, sans notes de bas de page ou bibliographie. Les textes soumis ne pourront dépasser les 4000 mots.
