In Lyon (France), from June 21st to 23rd, a conference will be held on Laurent Joubert, doctor and writer of the 16th century, heir to Rabelais and author of the Treaty on Laughter and Popular Errors. Claude La Charité will talk about the amazing biography he has devoted to his teacher Guillaume Rondelet, Rabelais’ classmate at the Faculty of Medicine of Montpellier and close relative of Rondibilis in the Third Book.

À Lyon (France), du 21 au 23 juin, se tiendra un colloque consacré à Laurent Joubert, médecin et écrivain du XVIe siècle, héritier de Rabelais et auteur notamment du Traité du ris et des Erreurs populaires. Claude La Charité y parlera de l’étonnante biographie qu’il a consacrée à son maître Guillaume Rondelet, condisciple de Rabelais à la Faculté de médecine de Montpellier et proche parent de Rondibilis dans le Tiers livre.
